Having loads of electrical problems!

Started with the indicators.. they stoped working properly while the engine was running, I had a lense cover missing for a few days, and the wrong watt bulb in it! 5w instead of 10 watt...
what a nightmare... today the whole show went nuts!! rev counter went bonkers, neutral light misbehaving, even sounded difrent as the rc valve kickes in!!.

Guessing its a Short Circuit ?? dont know what I am looking for but Ive had nothing but grief from the elecrtics since day 1!!
its a Honda nsr 125

please help.

Check all the earth connections. Cant remember where they all are but unbolt/clip them clean them up with a wire brush and make sure that they have a good connection.

This may be the problem!

Good Luck

you dont need a light to know if its in neutral or not!

but it sounds like a job for the garage, dont bother with electrics if you dont know anything about it. You'll just end up getting pissed off and probably make it worse anyway.

The only problem is that if you short it out all the time, eventually the wires will heat up and melt together Shocked

Check the connectors for indicators, and you have right bulb in their. Also have you got a cheap alarm on they, or an alarm nsr's dont seem to handle them well.

My main fuse blows instead of the alarm imbolising the bike, lol

Check the indicator connecting wires? The connectors might be loose and/or dirty.
