Hey dudes, are there any VMAX pilots out there? I've used the usual vmaxchat etc web sites but they seem 'dead'.... My baby is still scarin me (mostly in the wet actually!!) but I just know there's more performance shite I can get outta this machine.

Am lookin for technical help and advice from VMAX pilots....

Help!!

l was racing against a mate who has one on the BB dragstrip last week, they will piss on 1000cc superbikes up to 60-70mph due to the toque of the 1200cc V4 engine but they lose out when it comes to top speed. He was getting a best quarter mile time of 12,s and l was getting 11.4,s on a YZF1000R

his has a custom paint job and a straight through pipe (sounds fucking awesome!!!), after about 10 runs his clutch died which was probably caused by the massive burn-outs he was doing before every run to warm his tyre up. Twisted Evil

Thx, I'm interested in stuff like that... do you have a link or stats on quarter mile imes per model for example :-

VMAX
Hornet
Bandit6
Bandit12
XJR
RSV Millie
R6
:
etc

I was under the impression that the VMAX was the first bike to do a sub 10 second quarter mile straight out of the crate... isn't that what it's famous for??

Performance:
I not that experienced with the bike so the extent of my improvements will probably be a K&N airfilter (done), high performance spark plugs, frame brace, a good servicing and finger crossed Wink
I don't wan to go changing whats already there too much... If I did I'd be lookin at a different bike,,, whats the point in that may as well just buy something else.
