I'm finding it impossible to find TPO or TPFT insurance for a Kymco CK125 for under ~£550. Any ideas why this is?

Bike 2nd hand, made in 2005. (Getting it in brand new condition with 34 miles on the clock, first purchased in March)
I'm 18
Will only have CBT
Will be in locked garage overnight
Will have a good chain and padlock and disklock when it's locked anywhere.
Not used for work commuting.

I'm 18 Arrow you are still a young rider with little experance

Will only have CBT Arrow still a learner so insurance will be higher than a 18y old who has passed there test.

The bike is defo UK. It is normally sold by Triumph dealers.
I just read of other people on these forums insuring a RS125 when they are 17 for around 250-300.

Where do you live? That could be why it's so much.

My son insured his 2001 SymJet100 last year at age 18 on a CBT only for £150 with Motorcycle Direct. Try them or e-bikers (there was a thread in General Bike Chat a bit ago with their web address, do a google!) who are supposed to be good for younger bikers.

Good luck.
