It happens to everyone, that trick does. I think the key is either to have enough acceleration to get out of the way (not the best way), to leave your exit earlier, or to wait until they have slowed to turn or are indeed turning off. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

The lesson here is to never trust someones indicators
I always wait until I see them actually start to make the turn before I pull out. Same goes for t-junctions as well. Better safe than sorry
Just be glad you avoided this one! ____________________ Past: Honda NSR125R >> Kawasaki ER-5a2 >> Kawasaki ZZR-600e1 >> Suzuki GSXR-750Y >> Honda VTR 1000 Firestorm

It sounds like you responded well, congrats.
The trick I find is to ignore the indicators. People often don't use them correctly, either putting them on too early, too late, or not at all. Watch the wheels, you can always tell when and where someone is coming off. |

Ride like they are all out to getcha mate.
One thing I've learned about riding...it makes you a better car driver. You have to learn defencive riding coz your always gonna come second in an argument with a car. Normal car drivers feel a degree of invulnerability and drive accordingly. But if you've been riding a few years some of those defencive riding techniques spill over into your driving too.
Now just remember....most of em wouldn't know a Suzuki from a Zanusi so treat them all like the dick heads they are and never trust them. ____________________ https://hyperbikes.forumsplace.com/ |

Well I know full well that if I ride like a cunt im going to get smacked down like a cunt, so I stick to MY limits and no one elses, and not lets cars bully me into things... I don't care whether there's 500 cars behind me all beeping, If I can't make that manveuveur... Then I can't make it and they're going to have to wait 30 seconds of their pathetic lives until I can
Funnily enough I haven't had a car overtake me or try and intrude MY space for the past 2 and a half weeks
Ride safe people
