Just got some pics off my camera, here is one of my R6 with Haytor rock in the background. This was about half way on a 600 mile round trip!

Quality - Nice loking bike there.

I'll try and take a picture there when taking my bike down there in 3 weeks time. Except my trip is nearer 1200-1300 mile round trip.

Princetown is about as remote as it gets in England, there is basically a top security prison and a 900ft transmitter that was for TV but now used for FM, you can see the antenna for miles around and was always a welcome landmark when I used to do hiking on the moors as a kid.

Apart from that Dartmoor is mostly rugged beauty, there are many chocolate box villages on the slopes as you enter Dartmoor and "Widdecombe in the moor" is worth a visit as it is the only sizable place there apart from Princetown.

Widdecombe has a lovely spit and sawdust pub called the Rugglestone where they still serve the ale straight out of the barrel ! There is also Widdecombe fair but I cannot remember when exactly it's on.

Oh.....and lots of top biking roads, one of my favorates is the B3387 from Bovey Tracey to Haytor but beware of cattle grids, washed gravel on to the roads, sheep, pony's and slow driving tourists.
