after readint throught the cold winter post of kickstarts, i was starting to think, i dont have any warm winter stuff anymore, as ive either outgrown it, or its fallen apart in the last year.
so what stuff should i get, what should i avoid like the black death, etc.
ive been through about 4 winters now, and ive never had gloves that hold out anymore cold than summer ones.
would you recomend a scarf or something like it, ive got one but it restricts my head movement as its so large.
anything would help, well anything helpfull would help ____________________ www.wilcollinsphoto.co.uk |

Get yourseld a Polar Buff - like a normal Buff but with a chunk of fleece added in. I'm on my second one now and they really do keep the cold out.
Heated Grips
I've got the Oxford ones, the proper gips though, not the ones that just velcro over your normal grips. They make riding in the cold so much more bearable. ____________________ BCF: Be yourself, just don't be an arse. |

How much money do you have to spend?
A balaclava is the best winter thing i've brought yet, keeps yer head warm, you'll look mad though.
Gloves i have are belstaff patroll, brilliant (wear them most of the time) but no armour and not waterproof (which is a pain)
Boots - sidi vertibres, never been cold! amazeing really as they are "summer" boots... exarmy waterproof socks make them warm for -trempreture trips down the motorway. ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

I second the polar buff
Funky colours too!
I got all my 'all season' gear from J&S. It keeps me toasty and waterproof.
In the winter I wear J&S THICK winter gloves and under-gloves. ____________________ Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow" |
