Howdy all,
I thought i'd say hello. I've been reading the forums for a while and i'm just about to purchase my first bike so i thought i'd register.
I've been riding a 50cc moped for ages, I did my CBT on sunday and it made me decide i want more from a bike!! So this wednesday I bought a brand spankers Honda CG125, in blue. I pick it up on 5th Sept so its a 55 reg. I want it now
It'll be worth waiting for my first proper bike i really can't wait. See you all around hope to chat lots with everyone. |

Got it! its soo good when i'm on it I feel so free its just the best. Everything is a bit one-after-the-other at the mo. I.e. mirror, signal, brake, clucth, shift gear off cluctch. But iwas like that in a car to begin with, practice practice paractice and it'll all happen simultaneously.
I'M WELL CHUFFED!!!! |

Glad you're enjoying it. I really enjoyed riding a CG on my CBT, although it was definately a bit slow for my tastes, and my knees hit the handlebars when doing u-turn!
In any case, welcome to Bikerdom!

Welcome to the forum, oh and don't forget those lifesaver/rear observation glances before the mirror will save A LOT of trouble drilling it into your mind now rather than later. Instructors examiners will SO pick you up on these
Edited to write if you don't know, a Lifesaver is a 90 degree glance when you are moving, to check for any vehicle/pedestrian in a blind spot, be it on a turn, overtaking etc etc.
A rear observation is a 180 degree observation used when pulling away from a stationary position. ie traffic lights, junction, etc etc.
All the best,
