Going to fill up the bike yesterday, lunch time in a pretty industrial area, so thre's a fair few cars at the pump waiting.

Some old bugger drives in the exit, waits for a car to leave and tries to reverse to the pump before anyone else can get there.

Sod this me thinks and pulls up to the pump before he has a chance.

Still he reverses. I jumped of the bike and stood between it and his car, he must have been about 30cm from me before he stopped.

I start to fill the bike up, and have the petrol cap with my key in on top of the pump. The old git gets out the car and starts shouting and swearing at me. I mean the guy must have been in his 70's!

Being the nice chap I am, I just ignore him and carry on. Turn round to get my petrol cap and the guy snatches it shouting "Got your attention now!"

What do you do, when some old bugger has just nicked your keys?

Simple you walk round to his side, stand face to face with him with your tinted visor down and simply say

"Give me my keys back or I'm going to f**kin slap you"

They soon back down!

God i hate old people!

Awsome! Cool Laughing

Reminds me of when a little chav parked his silly little pushbike infront of my bike to stop me driving away. Well, with it being such a big wheel'd bike, I simply rode right over his bike.
He soon jumped out of the way. Very Happy

I had the old boy from next door round a few years ago when the wife was heavily pregnant.

Threatening about noise, (unjustified it was 10pm on a Saturday night and he and his wife are normaly down the pub and the noise was only for 2 mintues).

Anyway he said he would come in and hurt me.

I inivited him to do so, and put it in no un certain terms what would happen to him, I also reminded him who my friends were.

Every morning I enjoy choking up at 3000 revs, just underneath his window. My wife says why don't you free wheel down to the road, but I enjoy the annoyance.

Lol nice one by all you lot. My problem with old people is not only the ones who think they can do what they like, but what annoys me more is the old twats who really should be in a home by now, let alone driving on the roads. Would have pissed me off as much if not more if the old boy had driven into the exit thinking it was the entrance. Some old women once reversed into the front window of a china shop thinking it was her garage! I mean fuck how was she allowed on the roads long enough for it to build up to that!?

i was following an old fella through my village when he put his left hand indicator on and pulled to the left, fair enough me thinks, then as i go to overtake he bangs on the right indicator and pulls across the roade at which point he stalls.

then sits looking stright forward before slowly restarting the engine, i didnt know wether to be angry, amazed or just giggle like the school boy i so recently was!

as you can guess the later was my chosen reaction!

it took about 3/4 minutes for him to get moving again.

Only if they've just got into biking, otherwise its the 17~18
So called born again bikers (not sure how to define reborn) in thier 30's~40's are also to some degree at risk but it is very very few, biker deaths on roads has come down a bit....just a bit, diesel spills inronically is featured in alot of bike deaths as is bends where the rider has taken it too wide (speed), headon with a car or even worse a lorry and you are a goner

Reading all over the net on what people say and do makes me think younger bikers are too scarred to lean into bends, if you are one of those go pillion with a older rider on a bigger bike, he doesnt need to go mental speed wise but need to be able to do bends where you both lean lots, left and right, better still come to Milton Keynes as this is circle city, you'll soon learn how to lean and get good wear across the tyres
I think its also fair to say not all old people are stupid ole' gits and alwys remember we too one day will be there but your approch in life is is going to have a impact on you in your older years. fact so if you are a moner now, you are going to be a moaner then and you wont have any friends

Ive never had problems leaning bikes, i can lay em pretty much flat if im bimbling. Its when you are pushing it i dont like it, im crap at guaging grip levels.

My dad used to be a giggle, big ponce that he is. Barely took it past straight vertical. and cars out accelerated him from EVERY junction. I had to stop myself going up his arse on my 50! the one time i followed him. And being a pillion.... jeeesus.

I personally believe middle aged accountants et al to be the most dangerous. They are 'content' to shortshift every gear, and spend more time polishing their bike then riding it. But eventually they get egged on, or pissed off, and want to see what their blade will do. Cue hospital/morgue.

Least us young cunts learn to rag every last bit out of a 50, 125 and small capacity 4 stroke before being unleashed on something that can kill us (easily).

The old adage of;
You can kill yourself on an R6, but an R1 wants to kill you

I dont fear the litre, but i sure as shit respect it. Id have my reservations about buying one (even IF the insurance was cheaper then a 6) and this is after havign a CBR 6 for 5 months (working 3 of em) and regularly testing its performance, so to speak.

Put some lawyer/accountant weekend warrior on a litre after wobbling round on an ER-5 for a week and scraping through the DAS, with added 'ive been driving 20 years... im so confident' factor.
I always uphold BAB's are the most dangerous.

My neighbour allways used to complain about noise, even things like us mowing the lawn.

One day when he was having a BBQ my dad decided to fettle his RD350 which envolved spending half an hour blipping the throttle with the thing running very rich with no end cans on Laughing

I hate old people driving simple as that Evil or Very Mad

On a seperate note, theres nothing wrong with planning peoples funerals. Me and a drinking buddy have planned ours (during a sesh on the beer obviously) and it was decided we would each have two funerals, one for family and one for the lads. The burial would also be preceeded by which ever one of us hadnt died singing 'dust in the wind' like they did in 'old school'. Thumbs Up

seriously though Im sick of peoples attitude towards our mortality, a usual conversation at work would be 'I got my knee down on such and such a bend' followed by someone saying 'your going to die...' ridiculous. Wink
