No it not a festival of book worms, it's a festival of music drugs beer and women!! Anyone else going this year or will I be on me tod? I know ste and G want to come smoke the peace pipe with me!! It was a bit of a bitch getting tickets this year so if you have not got them already, you may not get them at all, you should try as hard as possible though because it is going to be explosive!! Especially with Iron Maiden headlining the sunday!! Take it easy. Rock on. Cliff. Mr. Green

That's dangerous thinking for these forums! Wink
I think a bcf meat eating spliff smoking and beer drinking is in order!! I always find the campsite partys better than the music! Apart from Bloc Party and maiden, I'm not bothered what happens!!

Nah, not this year.
Can you believe it - I went to Iron Maiden's last ever concert in Manchester in possibly 1994 (ish). Anthrax were supporting them... odd support I thought. And yet they are still playing...so what was that all about???

A bloody con....a money making scheme...well it worked cos the Gmex was packed out.

So who told you it was Maiden's 'last ever concert'?

If you went to a gig on the Fear Of The Dark tour (92/93) you might have been told it was their last gigs with Bruce at the helm but they've never expressed any intention to retire...

That'll be the thing then, Bruce leaving...

Saw a brilliant band last night called Hells Bells, they did some Maiden stuff, they were a very powerful band, brilliant showmanship and superb singing....as well as AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Whitesnake and other covers

I personally think Maiden Have lost it over the years, I also thought they were crap live apart from the display (and of course eddy) and the futureheads and bloc party were much better. Thumbs Up
