normally i wd defend the rs125 at this point, but today i intended to go to wales with a few ppl off here but i only got as shrewsbury b4 my clutch died so the recovery van brought me home.

in defence of the rs125, id say they are great when they work, but I have suspicions they dont work as often as some other bikes.

ive had it nearly a year and have nearly spent as much on garage bills as on the bike when i bought it.

i tend to prefer to think those god damn mechanics arent fixing it properly and are fleesing me rather than thinking about the fact my rs125 is a bit of a money pit.

i need to ride more bikes that i can love more than it so i can leave it.

unfortunately so far i have only ridden a yam sr 125(crap), cg125(nice but no match for an rs125), cbr125(not to my taste), er5(ok but a bit of a tank),nsr125(nice but not different enough to be worth changing to)

how can i talk of leaving my rs125, maybe i shd keep it as the bit on the side even if i get something else which is reliable.

okay sotoday i've stripped it down to take a look first off every seal was melted and running in to the cylinder and water jacket the thermosat was melted the bolts were bone dry the piston was fubar'd and the cylinder had gained half oof the piston so all in all it looked spot on for a typical overheat and seize. any one got a whole engine in good nick for 40 quid?
