I've had an email letting me know I've been invited to Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground to take part in an event run by Ride magazine, after completing their reader survey.

Extract from the email-

We are to meet at the track, preferably on our own bikes, and thus kitted out ready in our riding gear.

Anyone else going or heard/done anything similar? I'm up for it, but having only been riding for 9months, I'm worried I could be out of my depth :-/ Very excited though!!

What have I to loose, was what I thought.

Other than scuffing my leathers if I go arse over tit, but then my leathers still look far too-new!

Plus, I've only ever ridden my 60bhp ducati, so hopefully something bigger in a 'safe' environment might be just the ticket.

I suspect they may be looking for someone that doesn't have a massive amount of experience.

I suspect ticking the highest box for number of crashes probably precludes them from inviting me to ride thier bikes Smile.
