....And what are they like? Here in Plymouth there's a nice Yamaha dealership and a sell everything but "ooohpleasepleasebuyasuzukixxx" kind of place. Thats pretty much it. I've got to leave the county to find the nearest Kawasaki dealership.
Any better for you?

Most of the dealerships around here specialise in the smaller Marques.

The two dealers closest to me are an Aprilia Dealer and the other is a Cagiva/Peugeot/Hyosung/Sachs/MBK Dealer.

There used to be a Suzuki dealer and a Honda/Kawasaki/Yamaha/Aprilia/Suzuki/Ducati Dealer but they both closed down. Sad

My nearest town Taunton has a Yamaha, Suzuki, Piaggio, Kawasaki and Derbi Dealer ship. Smile

Plymouth is about 80 miles away if you need to find a Kawasaki dealership. Smile

An "exotica" dealership a couple of miles down the road from home, don't go in there much any more.

A suzuki/honda/yamaha/kawasaki/ducati/aprilia and probably some other stuff place 200 yards from work.

Assorted other stuff in a 10 mile radius of each.

Here in Blackpool there's one dealer who does Suzuki, Kawasaki, Ducati and CCM, and a dealer in Fleetwood with Aprilia and Yamaha franchises.

At the moment Honda bikes are sold by the car dealer, but I think there's changes afoot there.

Personally I don't like this all makes under one roof approach - if you don't like their service you've got to go out of town.

I've got a fair few in the area.

Just up the road from me I've got a 2 bike shops, one that's a KTM dealer and the other deals in Agusta and Buells

I've got P&H in Brighton and in Crawley, which deal with Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki and pretty much everything else.

Theres a Honda dealer in Hastings (JS Scetch).

A triumph dealer in Worthing, so quite well covered.

there are 8 in bristol that i know of, and about 3 in bath. from hondas to ducatis. i live in between both cities (5 miles either way) so it aint too bad for new bikes. however, they have virtually no selection of used bikes really.

I went into the Yamaha dealership today. I wouldn't give them my phlegm never mind my money. Seriously the saleman was so disinterested I'm convinced he was actually putting thought into how he could demonstrate to me his contempt. He had a gift for it, the twat.

Infinity Farnborough - Sell Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Aprillia. I would not touch them with a barge poll. A very pressurized sales room. Servicing.... look at Ste. I am cautious of clothes sales but would buy them. In short, go elsewhere for bikes and servicing.

George White is the main one and they supply Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Honda. They have new and used bikes and a clothing and accessories section.

https://www.georgewhite.co.uk/home.html

There is a smaller dealer called Artdeans that supply Suzuki and lesser known brands (to me anyway). They have new and used bikes and a clothing and accessories department on the top floor.

I know what you mean when I was looking for my new bike I went to and phoned several dealers, I would say something like:

"hello I'm interested in buying a new R6, Im a cash buyer, I do have a bike to PX but Im happy to sell it privately if the deal is not right"

by the look on their face or their tone you would think I had actually said

"hello, Im going to come to your house on xmas day shit over the dinner table and fuck your wife" !

what goes......half these dealers need to go out of business! I expect them to kiss my hairy arse!

2 places that were helpful were Webbs Yamaha of Peterborough and Bowers in Bury St Edmunds

PS: maybe its the fact that Im a cash buyer and dont need finance that is the problem?

PPS: some of the shit dealers were, every single place I phoned in Ipswich, Taz in Peterborough and the Suzuki/kawasaki part of Hallens/Allens in Cambridge
