I went over to Chester Zoo last week from Sheffield, actually went down through matlock on the way there but on the way back went over the moors - down the snake pass? - really horrible to ride at night... got stuck behind a tanker for about 20 mins, no way to overtake - or rather, i didn't think it was "safe". He eventually gave me the heads up to go and let me pass... a mile up the road... another tanker... lol... I eventually got down to a bit where the other side of the road turns into two lanes and just overtook him there...

On the way back I saw this R1 behind me, looks in my mirror again and hes over taking me ( I'm doing about 60-70mph ). He flies up the hill, and when i get to the top, I see him about 3-4 miles into the distance going up the next hill... I was having trouble holding onto my bike at 60, let alone whatever speed he was doing...

That'll be the ram air system, thats supposed to cram more air into the airbox at high speed. I had a similar system on my NSR, and now on my VFR, but i think the effectiveness was/is marginal, it just looks groovy...

Looks familiar, I work in Huddersfield, but lookly live over the border in Calderdale.

Is that the road that drops down to Marsden? If you follow it from the s*** hole oops in mean Oldham?

Or is it the road the goes out towards Denshaw , the A640??
