Ok ive gota go and get tax for my bike today...

WHat do i need to take in with me?

Is it just the MOT and SORN Notice they have sent me?

Insurance Certificate, valid MOT and re-licence form.

I did mine online over a week ago! Very Happy Thumbs Up

Had that problem with the car. Couldn't find the insurance Cert. so phoned up and asked for a new one last Friday. Eventually turned up yesterday morning, x3 because I'd chased it too! Laughing

Edit: I called the DVLA btw to check and you've got 14 days grace before you can be done for not having any tax! Very Happy

So i can go for 14 days into this month before i get owned for having an out of date disc?

Yes, but they can still choose to do you for failing to display within those 14 days (happened to Charlotte).

You can quite possibly get your tax online without the insurance certificate as long as it is insured and you have a new style (printed) MOT certificate. Insurance and MOT databases should now store the info centrally. You will need your V5C for those (the online system wants a code that is printed on it somewhere).

It's funky that online renewal! Thumbs Up

I did mine for the CBR and it was painless and virtually effortless. They popped up a survey at the end and I gave them full marks for everything!

Does anybody know the scale of charges for the Tax Disk (road fund license). It would be interesting to see how much they all are nowadays, for all different engine sizes,
