I have been thinking about changing the SP1 but I am not sure what for. The options are an 05 R1 for £7700 in Blue. It's an ex demonstrator with 1400 miles. I have had a go on it and it is a very nice bike.

Option 2 is an 03 Blade with full titanium Akropovich race exhaust system, Ohlins damper and power commander with 12000 miles for £6000. The downside is it's yellow Sick

Option 3 is a KTM superduke in black. This would be new and about £8k.

Option 4 is wait until early next year for the new R6 which will probably sell for about £7300.

What would you do?

My desires change like the wind, but at the moment I would love a Superduke in black. I test rode one a while back and it was great fun - a very sorted bike Thumbs Up

i would consider an 06 R6, price is a tad steep, you do know the 2006 GSXR600 will be changing shape to the marmite shape of the 1000.

can you buy them without streeching yourself to far? if you can go for option 1, just make sure that it is mechanically sound as it could have been ragged before it was run in, plus you should have a one year warrenty

I'd choose the Superduke out of that list. Just something about it; like a BMX bike with a whooping great litre v-twin in it. Plus looks so cool in black.
