they don't like you doing it and in there little world they think is a good idea to steer towards you! Rolling Eyes i've also had people steer to block me filtering when they see me in there wing mirrors. just to annoy me, i put it down to them thinking its a victory in there small little world Middle Finger Evil or Very Mad Middle Finger , in general though most people steer out the way to let me through Thumbs Up
i tend to write it off as them being an arse and give them the w@nker sign when i do get past them and leave it at that, have restrained myself from taking there wing mirror off so far

If you had spent over £10,000 on an overweight, inefficient tin box that does nothing but drink fuel and get stuck in traffic you'd get all frustrated every time a bike breezes past.

Stupid car driving twats Laughing

Still, without them there would be nothing to laugh at

Longer steel bar ends work wonders on plastic barryboy m3 mirrors.

I currently dont have a car license and thus use my bike for everything... I generally find that car drivers are not even taught to be aware of bikes let alone let them past (My driving instructor told me that its not compulsary to teach students about bikes, they just need to be aware that there are other vehicles on the road - but claimed that when asked "what to be looking for at a junction", 99% of new drivers say "cars", not "other road users"... I'd say that most car drivers who ride bikes tend to be a lot better drivers and will let other bikers past, I would and will when I pass my car test.

I was in york today, and I was attemping to filter up a semi-narrow street. 90% of the cars were positioned almost ontop of the centre line making it incredibly difficult to filter up past the oncoming cars... there was about half-a-car's width at the other side and no extra lane for turning left... (and no cycle lane either) both busses that I passed were but up against the pavement (due to picking up passengers) and displayed how wide the road actually was... Is there a reason for getting so far over to the right? I thought the general rule was stay left at all times... I managed to get to the front of the queue... (30, 40 cars long, traffic lights letting 1-2 cars through at a time before turning red... typical...)...and found myself up against it again, I decided to just wait it out as it was just too dangerous to try and steer around them.

Unless i can get past without having to expect the cagers to move then i wont attempt to filter...unlessi can see a easy way back into the line if something decides to come down the other way in a hurry.
ive had it when i still had my lil scooter 2 years ago (maybe more now) my mate went past this guy at stair foot (before they did all the work around the keel for those who know it) he sees my mate fly past checked his mirror then saw me, and decided he was going to cause atrafic jam JUST topiss me off.
full lock streght out at a 45degree andgine blocking both lines of cars as well...stupid fukxxor he had to wait for the whole right lane to clear (having to drive round him) before he could streghtnen up to carry on, needless to say his peers behind werent that impressed with the pillock! my mate waited just up ardsley hill for me...he was probably linched up kendry for being such a tool (rough area!)

I was filtering down the kings road a few months ago when a BUS coming in the opposite direction suddenly edged to the center of the road to block me. I ducked in, did a U-turn, had a go at the driver who pointed at a camera in the cab. The driver of the bus was a fucking woman. Shame no cops around, I wanted to have her charged with attempted murder.

Sorry, ranting now.

She wasn't avoiding anything, just trying to block me, I could of reported her, I was too annoyed and I was too busy working, besides nothing would come out of it.
