Basically, every now and then I realise utterly how much I love owning a high-performance superbike.

Any Safety Nazis sod off now Wink

THis is one of my favourite good-feeling moves on a bike. Pulling right onto a fast main road. No traffic coming towards you from the right, so you pull onto the right lane, speed up to the limit straight away, and snick into the traffic. Poetry in motion!

See pic for a rough idea of my lunacy!

Also I love pulling onto a duel carriageway/motorway and going straight from the slip lane into the fast lane at 100mph.

So much fun.

Anyone else want to share?

Laughing

The first time I had ever heard of anyone doing this was going towards inverness and we had stopped at a junction before getting onto a long dual carriageway. Colin (cc123) proceeded to do that particular move...and I was gobsmacked. How cool I thought. Thumbs Up

Colin - you remember that one? Laughing

If you're really lucky when you pull out the car drivers shit themselves slam on and you cause a 42 car pile up, bliss.

This isn't a thread for criticism of these things, just a chance for anyone else to share. Might as well say don't filter incase a car pulls out, or don't speed incase you crash. Live a little....

It was a joke fool, I've never been a safety nazi. Just today I went round the outside of 2 cars, 2 bikes and a coach on the cat and fiddle round a left hander, couldn't do that in a car. Razz

Filtering, at speeds I shouldn't be doing when the road's clear Neutral.

He means filtering at 70mph in a 60 limit.

I find biking only starts to get fun when your doing double the speed limit Neutral

I like pulling out in front of speeding cars knowing they will dump themselves as they expect to go into the back of me, but as i can get up to speed quiker than 99% of other road users rather than going into the back of me i leave them behind.

Finding out that there is at least one rider in the world who goes round corners more slowly than me, and overtaking him even though his bike was much bigger than mine..... Cool

Suzuki Bandit £1870

Hein gericke Clothing £315

Insurance £265

Pulling onto a motorway/duel carrigeway and accelerating passed the car that wont move out of the way for you to join the road, priceless.

Boy racer sits on your ass

You slow down to annoy him

He gets annoyed and tries to go round you

When he draws level, slowly accelerate till he realises he wont over take

he'll get in behind you

repeat as necessary!

when you take a mates 125 cruiser out and get 10 mph more out of it, then he can (while he watches on another bike) and filter/overtake and do things he cvan't even imagine

I just love getting a roundabout just right.

In at a safe speed and then slowly winding up the speed till I exit just to nail the accelerator and hold it just under the red line till I hit 6th gear

I just love it.

I also love taking off from the light knowing that my sensible 600 commuter bike will obliterate just about any car cheaper than my house and all for 5k

As immature as it is, there is still no better feeling than beating mopeds off the lights. Embarassed
