yeah got my bitting point sometimes but some hills are aweful where i live to get over the top of lol. my balance is great, not afraid of bike or anything. maybe just afraid of driving slowly. but i know when i get used to it i will be fine. wish it was start if summer again instead of learning in bad weather as usual. last year had that moped and all it done was rained lol. but i learnt the hard way and was thankful of it.
people tend not to believe me when they see me and they find out i have a bike. i think i have been tared with the dumb blonde thing. but i soon shut them up
thanks guys. |

You really need to slip the clutch and not be afraid to give it a handful of revs when doing hillstarts on a 2-stroke 125. I live in the south wales valleys, so believe me, i know!
All bikes are more stable the faster you go, so if you get over the low speed problems, you should be sorted.

P.S. Female bikers are a minority in a minority, so no bikers are likely to take the piss. We're generally just glad theres another female biker! ____________________ Current - '94 VFR750FR (Dead), '00 VFR800FI, 2011 CBF125 Previous - '10 Street Triple R, '92 MZ ETZ301, '05 TTR250, NSR125R, KMX125, "Honda" Win (chinese copy of an old Honda design with a C90 engine)

Do lessons with an instructor then what he tells you to do practice it, and then practice some more.
Soon you'll be moving along smoothly doing your rear checks when required and hopefully be ready for your test.
As for ppl laughing at you never worry as everyone make mistakes and even riders who have 10 years under their belt make mistakes, after all we're only human ____________________ ****NORTHERN IRELAND NEWSFLASH!!**** According to a recent survey, 94% of loyalists said the best sex they ever had was in the shower; the other 6% haven't been to jail yet.*** |

i am def proud to be a girl biker
i get asked questions by girls that can be mean like"why dont you get a car, or why you drive a bike"?
they can be mean.
still waiting on bike to come back form getting fixed cant wait as then i will get mot and be out on the open road again. getting frustrated asking for lifts or looking at the four walls. |

Why don't you go to the Quay Vipers MCC rally the weekend after next?
They are a really friendly bunch, lots of other girl riders there for you to get to know, lots of experienced riders to give you tips, and you get a damned good party too!

If I can sort out the ferry & riding/driving, you might even get to meet me too, although it's looking less & less likely the nearer we get to it. ____________________ Sod falling in love, I wanna fall in chocolate. |
