Got a really nice CBR400, sorted out a great deal on insurance, but then failed my test yesterday Sad was not impressed. Now i have to wait 2 weeks with the torture of seeing my bike sitting in the garage but not being able to ride it. Going to be a long two weeks.

Know how you feel, I did exactly the same thing, bought my GSX600F then failed my test. Six week waiting list for a retest. Luckily got the bike to work and got some practice around the site, U turns etc.

My bike! Very Happy

Bike very well looked after and really clean when bought it so just need to keep it like that now.
When i pass going to see Suzuki and Annabella in Birmingham to do a bit of a service on it.
In the mean time need to get a tank protector, new grips and tank bag. Any recommendations or is it just personal preferance

After months of me trying to get Lotty to start posting on the forums, she finally does it!

(she had to register 3 times though, cos her account kept getting deleted through lack of use)

Isn't her bike gorgeous! It's in mint condition. So pleased for her.

Now she just needs to pass her test! Thumbs Up

Jon... service... Laughing

You saw how long it took him to get a caliper apart, I'm sure Bella will be able to do it though. Razz

Good luck with your next test date! Thumbs Up

I got my first 400 before I'd passed my test, having it sitting there gave me the incentive to sort my license out, if I hadn't got it sitting there I may not even have a full license yet! Shocked

I went through the same thing after failing my test, and having my VFR waiting in the garage. I kept going up there just to look at it, start it up, fantasize about riding it....

After a couple of days I had to stop going up there, I just knew I would end up riding it if I didnt. I just concentrated on preparing for the test, over and over. Rolling Eyes

Thankfully, i passed second time, and the VFR was everything I dreamed it would be! But i personally think that having the bike in the garage added pressure when doing the test. Could have done without that!

But it was certainly torture, and you have my sympathies.

Exactly the same as me, i just could'nt be arsed to go book another test. When the zxr was sitting in the garage it gave me some motivation to get off my arse and book another test. I did and failed it, but then passed 3rd time lucky 2 weeks later.

Good luck with your test and your bike Thumbs Up
