On the back of the liscense it has the <25kw marking.

What happens after two years then, do you send it back to get it removed, or what? Or just carry on and ignore it?

I phoned the DVLA regarding this - they say it stays on your photocard and not to worry about it. They relate the restriction to the date you passed your test to confirm if your 2 year probation's up, apparently Confused

I thought you could send it to be ammended and they'd send you a new one at the cost of £9.

Correct, you can send it to them and get it removed, although you don't have to.

The Northern Ireland one is different from that.

Picture of a small bike with the dates between the two years
then below is a picture of a larger bike with th date of the restriction end.
