Right heres my situation, i am 17 years old and have 1 years road experience on a 50cc scooter. i am now riding a honda NS125F but my CBT expires in february and i need to take my test.

Do i need any training or will i be ok just reading the pass your bike test book from cover to cover and then taking my test.

Im not some looeney idiot and im often complemented on my safe riding, i would really apprectiate some advice.

Thanks alot

I just passed my test yesterday after nearly two years on a CBT, to be on the safe side I went out with an instructor for three hours on Monday afternoon. She gave me a bit of a mock test and pointed out some faults. I found the whole thing very worthwhile and I'm not sure I'd have passed without it. For £40 I think it was well worth it.

Hope that helps.

Yea, its a good idea to get a bit of training, 3hours should be ok, i had 6 hours, the only thing i learned was to do a lifesave when turning left so don't let the instructors try and take your money by doing 3 days or something stupid, if your ready, book a few hours and you will be all good.

Good luck.
