It's getting the 125 into the middle of the city that's the problem!

L plates = no motorways!

Aah, fair point. I'm sure it's doable though, although being of the 'I'm fucked if I know how to get there' disposition myself I can't blame you not fancying it.

Course you could always 'lose' your L plates and ride up the motorway with a bunch of other BCFers... perfectly innocent looking. Not that I'd condone something like that. Shifty

My bike will do 60 if the winds right and I've had sprouts the night before! Don't think I'd keep up!

I'd stand a better chance to take my bike gear on the train, and ride a push bike through london. I'm sure no one would notice!

Oh how wrong you are! I did the killspills last year and i found it an absoulte hoot. I met most of the bcfers i know on that day and have been good mates with few of them ever since Thumbs Up Come, otherwise you wouldn't know what you're missing!

like i said, i did it last year before i passed my test, so i was L's. I asked the police escort whether we'd be going on motorways, and we're not. The A40 flyover over west london has lost it's A40(M) classification and consequently means that L platers are able to join. I had one dude on a shadow 125 approach me in the convoy saying "Fuck me mate, there's a rare sight, another L plater!", which means however small you may seem, it's all part of the bigger picture Karma Thumbs Up Besides, the convoy's doing 2 abreast on one lane at <30mph, sometimes reaching 50 on the flyover, but we're all safe.

This is unless tribal tiger, you acutally NEED to use the motorway to rendezvous with one or few of the BCF lot before approaching the ace, which in that case - get out an atlas and plan your journey. It'll be a good day regardless.

I'd be coming from Aldershot, so it would be getting there. If not i may just get the train to Londonand come say hi in London.

I should be helping some one to pack to move in a few weeks but I may get out of it and come see you guys.

It's times like this i miss going pillion on my mates bike!

Coming from Aldershot's no bother, can easily make it there on slow roads and no motorways.

Tis up to the people who are coming from further out to say whether they want/need to meet more people there, and if so, what time they'll be there. So in other words, ask Ranger. Smile

(I'd have said about half ten would make sense).

I'm told that I am riding a horse tomorrow, also - I don't think they are very good for distance unfortunately.

Tomorrow's Friday G, your excuse is poorer than usual. Razz

Jon - I'd suggest the roundabout before Legoland, rather than in Legoland itself, but it depends how many bikes there are going to be?

Right we need some solid information and I hate electing myself to be an organiser cause I can't organise a piss up in a brewery.
Shall we say meet at Fleet at 9 O CLOCK? and then we head over to Legoland, what time was the legoland lot going to meet?
