I got t-boned by a car yesterday afternoon after the third day of riding my new bike. I was under the delusion that riders stopped and helped each other out in these situations, how wrong was I!! I counted about twenty six riders approach, slow down and ride on. It was quite disappointing to see. Thumbs Down rant over.

I know man! its outrageous to think that if you were in an accident where the driver of the car was just to drive off no-one would react to it!

Good to see you here, means you wernt sent to hospital and can only guess there were other people helping already, why do you want bikers to stop in the 1st place, to hear possibly that you may have been able to prevent the accident in the 1st place, you how people talk.......not sayin that is so but you dont need a crowd at the scene of a accident as it can fall into a riot... lok at it this way, all it takes is for one motorist to say something bad about bikes, the bikers there helping get annoyed, shall I go on.....

Get the insurance sorted and get back on, list all pains and drag 'em out, see a doctor 'cos you have whiplash, see a lawyer and put in a claim.

Go on a nice holiday and relax, you've paid for it

Cheers

Ive always stopped to help any biker, on the other hand Ive pulled the bike over and offered to help car drivers with flats etc. The day I went to V festival I saw a woman biker tumble down the road, I pulled over and helped her despite already being late to pick someone up.

In contrast when a fat short sighted bitch knocked me off I was left to deal with the whole situation on my own, I was obviously causing a great inconvenience as people had to drive round me to get past. ended up having to pick the bike up on my own and everything Sad

yeeouch! sounds like your a bit screwed. If i were you, i'd let the insurance write it off, then buy it back and sell it for spares, or turn it into a track bike.
