My m8 said that thats why police cars flash there headlights when ur pulled over, so they can see if it disapears on there camera..... But my m8 also said there 50cc scooter does 70mph because its got a racing exhaust on...

Nah all the flash resistant plates don't work, and the coatings don't work either to my knowledge.
Police flash you to get your attention.

I read an article in the sun (and therefore the level of truth it holds is debatable) which stated that a commonly used cosmetic product could infact reflect the flash of a gatso, totally over-exposing it. The cosmetic used was not disclosed, which is a shame. I reckon it could have been hairspray, though. I might try it out with my digital camera.

There was a story in the paper down here on the isle of wight, a guy on a cbr 1000 did a wheelie through a speed camera, got flashed. Thought sweet got away with that, looked behind him and to his supprise there was a police car behind him. So he had just wheelied through a speed camera while speeding, and not in control of his bike.

Bingo!

I know progress is a bit slow on the Isle of Wight, but we have at least progressed past the 60s bike design and legislation!

Probably written by some lifetime Island resident who has never been to the 'mainland'.
