Go and get one today and produce it.

Just explain to the Police. I reckon that you will just get a bollocking as you had made the effort.

Dont produce and you will be in the shite

Worst case, it's non-endorasable, so just a fin, no points.

May seem shitty, but it's a whole load less shitty than having to pay higher insurance for the next 5 years Smile.

Don't worry, be up front and you will get away with a slap on the wrists.

Wait and take it with you.

they may just take a quick glance if they are interested and may ask you to explain.
Dont take it and they ask then you will have to go back again and they will think you are taking the piss or trying to get away with something.

Hi

They have not asked for your MOT so do not mention it. Do not show it to them unless asked.

Preferably get it MOTed, then take the docs round. Then they can ask for the MOT, but it will hopefully legally be a seperate producer, issued after the MOT was issued.

All the best

Keith

The chances are they didn't request an MOT because it didn't occur to them, as your bike is fairly new. I'd be on the safe side and take that as well anyway, you've got a few more days to do it anyway.

I would look carefully at that piece of paper they gave you.

It should list the documents they have requested you to produce by means of tick boxes.

If they have not ticked MOT, that means they have not requested to see it and you don't have to produce it. Go to the police station, say "I have been told to produce these documents." and hand over the chit along with the documents requested on it.

The extremely bored person who is manning the desk will wander off with them, go through the back, make himself a cup of tea and drink it (to cause you inconveniance, which is why they gave you the producer in the first place). He will then check that what has been ticked on the chit matches what you have given him and hand it all back.

Don't mention the subject of MOTs at all, if he asks for it, just say it wasn't requested on the chit but you can go and get it if he wants to see it now. 90% chance he can't be arsed.

That's what I would do anyway.
