HOW?

It's bike related on a bike forum... spam how? May be of interest to people.. i.e bikers..

if this was a knitting forum then fair enough. But although we do have a large pecentage of old grannies here it's mainly a bike forum.

I suggest you relate the username, website and video name. He's here promoting his own video.

So what??

I don't know why people are soo against "spam" if it's related..

OKay if someone was posting for sale stuff ALL the time or stuff thats not to do with bikes, but the odd bit of "interesting" spam isn't a bad thing.....

But i guess, where do you draw the line..

Meh..

We'll have to agree to disagree there, but he's literally signed up to promote the vid, and has posted it in various sections.

That's not spam. Bike videos in the video section of a bike website.

And in General. Also being the only 2 posts he has posted and will ever post, having signed up today. It's the same as emailing all of us with it because we registered here, it's unsolicited promotion. The adverts on here pay for Korn's running costs, whereas Korn gets nothing for that, and he gets exposure. Free promotion, or spam.

yeah obviously, but the fact the vid is just a wannable ghost rider movie(as are thousands of others) makes it a crap advertisement aswell.

Why do you say wannabe Ghost Rider? There was no weaving in and out of traffic or wheelying through town. All the video was out in open roads. People from here have posted videos like that and haven't had the same accusation levelled at them.

Personally, I don't see it as spam. Yes, it is advetising something, but there is a video you can go and watch for free. It has some interesting camera angles and is much better than most of the videos we put up.

i only consider it a wannabe ghost rider because he didnt put it on here as "just a small home video i made" hes advertising it here, i mean he has his own website, hes taking it very seriously, and the fact that like everyone else has said, we probably wont ever see a post from him again, hes only advertising that vid, makes it worse. He is trying to steal GR's limelight, as is anyone who actually makes a website for their lowergrade vid. I'm not saying its a bad vid, just the fact hes advertising it to compete with Ghost Rider annoys me. Ghost Rider was the first(well actually the Black Prince was before him) but now so many people have nicked his idea of properly publising a street racing vid.

Basically yeah, not unless its actually something to rival ghost rider, i mean what, a bonestock r1, few kneedowns in that trailer, c'mon first it was done by getwaway in stockholm in the cars, gr was basically the first to have a real go at it on a bike, and now everyone else is trying to copy, except the other vids are shit.

Doesn't look anything special to me, just some Joe Bloggs on his R1 not riding it properly. Been put to shame by Ghostrider/Isle of Man TT DVDs, plus what's with the 'Break of War' soundtrack? Sounds like the trailer to Gladiator or something.

The Spine of the Dragon (IIRC!) is a very well-known stretch of road in the US that is known for its nice surface and endless series of varying corners that basically makes for a fast and challenging ride. He's basing the video off of it which is, IMO, a pretty neat idea. And even if he only signed up to advertise, he's not likely to consider sticking around if people are giving him a hard time. I personally don't mind this kind of thing since it brings video projects to my attention that I'd probably not otherwise know about.

From what i can tell, hes not selling anything.

Theres a donation page, but nothing specifically selling something, so i dont think its advertising.

Its just a guy, posting his vids, that are hosted on a nicely created website.

I like em, more please. Thumbs Up
