Humm

Shark RSF2 's
AGV Ti-Tech
AGV Stealth (very kool, get in black and add black visor Cool )
Shoei Raid 2 (Maybe just outta your price range)

Just off the top of my head Thumbs Up
Obv. as you know, you can spend £500 on a helmet but if it dont fit correctly its worthless. Just Make sure the one you get fits Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Take it easy

Your budget will buy you the better of the lower priced range of lids (Shark, Suomy, AGV, etc) and almost into the start of the Arai and Shoei lids. If you can squeeze a bit more then there are a few older design Arai lids here
https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_cat/143 from £200 upto £250. J & S has some Shoei lids around the £250 mark.

As I'm skint, I wear a Shark lid. But Arai fits me perfect. The last one I crashed in did a pretty good job protecting my head too! They are top quality lids and if I had the money it's all I would buy. But like it's been said before, it's all about fit. Shouldn't be squeezing your forehead or squashing your nose against the chin bar. Go to your local well stocked bike shop and try lots on. Then compare prices online.

Wouldn't bother about it matching your leathers.

None are what you would call quiet. So buy some earplugs. Thumbs Up

Shoei Raid 2 is my recomendation. Seen the plain colour ones on sale for £180. The pinlock visor system is amazing, easy to remove visor, good venting, quiet, and light. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

As always, try them out first. I've been told that peoples heads are either Shoei shaped, or Arai shaped. See which yours is. Very Happy

Caberg V2 or justissimo, check them out at:

https://www.motrax.co.uk/Index_pages/clothing/cabergv2.htm

The solid colours look shite, but the graphic ones are cool. The justissimo flip-front got best on test and a 9/10 in mcn.

https://www.motrax.co.uk/Index_pages/clothing/caberg_justissimo.htm

The downer to the justissimo is that the graphic one looks a bit poo, but it does come in metallic Very Happy

I had a Shoei Raid 1 until I dropped it last month and decided to replace it. I now wear a Shoei XR1000 which is great. It's got pinlock visor so no misting up, lots of vents, aerodynamically shaped and is very light. You can get ones with fancy paint jobs but mine is plain silver and cost me £220.

The one that is the best fit - if it's noisey, use earplugs.
