If he was nice enough to do all that, he might be nice enough to drop your bag off, he sounds like a great bloke.

Good luck with the bike!

It amazes me how you can get people who will help a complete stranger

glad you got your stuff back, to be honest you are not a stranger to most bikers as they have been there at the side of the road and know how it feels to be fecked then for some to stop! Thumbs Up
its like a small club of people we haven't met yet! i'm sure you will come across many other instances in your biking career where people will help you out loads and not ask for anything in return! its all about real world Karma

To be honest, id stop for any biker i think i can help. Youd be surprised even if its just lending them your phone, or even giving them a lift.

Ive never had a bad experience with another biker!

nice story, glad u got your bag back too

i had similar happen when my broke down shortly after i bought it a long way from home. I broke down outside the house of a guy who had a motorbike trailer ! He took all the way home (a few hours) for a modest fee.

Had a nice chat on the way, his sons have bikes and he had bikes when younger.

I rode past a biker once in whales, I think he just came from a track day and either crashed or got pissed off and threw his bike onto the grass ( it was laying down ) he was ok, or at least up on his feat. I didn't even think of stopping and one it finally came in my head that he might need help I turned round and rode to the place, The bike was already on the back of a break down lorrie so I let it at that.

Im always hearing about bikers helping each other out, How many times that happen when theres a car broken down???

Yeah, When my throttle cable snapped.

Someone stopped to help. Thing is a lot of people have been bikers and virtualy everyone over the age of 58 have been bikers.

The reason being, bikes were soo much cheaper than cars back then.
