New paint job, like it?

Ok so not the most sexy bike to begin with but i didn't like green on it so i got it sprayed over the weekend i think it looks much better now, got rid of dents in tanks and the stratches if nothing else. gotta get some stickers on the tank to finish it but whatdoyathink?

very nice. although i have to be honest, i think the green would have been better if you had just removed the stickers.
looks good quality though. especially for a DIY job.

-dont forget to change the colour with the dvla.

A darker Blue would have been better.

Not a particularly nice choice of colour IMO.

i actually feel the green is better suited to that bike. the blue colour looks abit too bright, and maybe would suit a car.

It does actually look darker in the flesh, well depending how the light hits it it looks darker/lighter, its pearlecent. i had the flash on, on the camera so made it look brighter,

It wasn't a diy job, spray shop did it for £100, theres a fly screen to come as well in the same colour, he's doing that today.

I would definately spray the engine and that diagonal frame part black if you can, hammerite painted on works great. That's what I'd do if it were my bike anyway. Need's a longer normal sized silencer on that exhaust too imo

the exhaust is a standard one and i too hate it BUT i haven't got another £200 for a better one Crying or Very sad

I like the blue, looks vibrant, I like the way it goes with the shiny chrome.

I like it, i think some tank and tail unit decals of some form would look good. £100 is cheap for a paint job so well done Thumbs Up

i'm suprised most people opted for the green to be honest. I really didn't like green on it, it made the bike dull to me. and im not bothered what everyone says i really like it, just wanted to see the general concensus. I think the picture came out lighter than it is in the flesh. will be getting stickers for it soon, not sure what tho. Watch this space cos might need some help with whaich ones put on it. cheers for all the opinions guys

The green looked better, but if you polished the wheels and lacquered them, or even chromed them, i reckon it would look nicer. dont mind the blue though, looks a damn fine job for £100 notes, too. Thumbs Up

Nice job.

Now please DO NOT ruin it buy buying any blue anodised alloy bits. Looks like a classy custom paint job just now. Putting anodised bolt-ons would make it look tacky. By all means replace fittings but make them plain alloy or stainless.

I think without the stickers it still looks a bit unfinished, but I definately like it more than the green.
