It's a KBC lid, what do you think of the design? (The graphics, not the shape).

Looks a bit too "American" for my liking with the US Army stars on it. Looks like the kind of thing that McDonalds would sponsor!

Give me a pot of tea and Test Match Cricket ... Very Happy

I'm definately a big fan of that helmet! Is it a custom paintjob?

I thought this one was cool too:

Depends what bike you wear it on. Stretfighter or a Buell of any sort then Thumbs Up

Might look a bit too 'wannabe' on a supersports.

Is it a KBC Faser helmet. As that's what I have and to be honest I am not that impressed. The vents on the top and visor look exactly the same as mine.

The lining is starting to deteriorate after only 3 months of use at the bottom of the helmet and the vents on the top whistle loudly in the wind when you are riding.

They are being sold for £70 at CMC and they are cheap and budget you get what you pay for. I intend to buy a better quality helmet when I have the funds. Then this one can be a spare for occasional pillions.

Another thing is the front vent, which doesn't stay open on it's own, I have had to tape mine open.

It's not a custom, one of KBC's great helmets.

Do you think it would look good with my Bandit then?

It's a KBC VR-1.

I have had a Smoked Chrome KBC VR-1 for around 6 months now and I am very pleased with the helmet, it is comfortable, stylish and light.

I can get a lightly used one of these helmets for £50 but I am unsure what other people think of the styling, hence this poll.

If I had the money to get a premium helmet it would be a Shoei Raid 2.

My main problem with helmets is that my head is quite large, and I have real trouble getting one to fit. My KBC fitted like a glove so I bought it. I had been into several shops and tried helmets on up to £200 but found none which were big enough or the correct shape for my head, despite lots of help from several knowlegeable staff.

But meanwhile the KBC is ok for me, although I can't see it being in good nick for more than 12 months of riding.

As said I think it would depend on the bike being ridden for it to have the right look. Having said that my lad saw one and loved it (but he's 10 and likes military styled stuff). Would have got him one for pillion use but the one I saw was a bit pricy to justify the odd occasional use and he'll probably outgrow it in one summer anyhow.

I think they look pretty cool. Would have to agree though, they look like a US fighter pilots helmet.

The KBC Assassin lid is my favourite, even looks better than the AGV XR2 which I stupidly bought.
Might have to send my AGV off for a custom paint job Smile.

There are one or two on eBay.

You might want to check your local dealers for them.

Agree it would look cool on a naked / streetfighter bike.

I think the concept is pretty cool but the 'intake' etc text maybe a bit OTT.
Anything that reminds me of an F15 fighter is cool in my book.

Definately a streetfighter style.

If the lid fits......

I like it cheap here as well and come in loads of colours but a bit to popular. Some guy on ebay a while ago had a stunt bike painted in the same style as the helmet looked ace. Thumbs Up

The colour is a mat colour and looks good but try getting bug splats off is hell also comes in a green:

i have a kbc helmet and its way better than the AGV i had before - better visibility, vents that you can actually tell that work and i also managed to get a replacement road legal tinted visor off ebay for £8 brand new.
