Picked up my RS50 from Taz's this morning. Was riding it round their forecourt and then up and down the side road. It's derestricted, and feels fairly nippy. We have just got back. My dad took it out on the road and said it went off the clocks without thrashing it (was still cold). So im guessing around 45-50. Topped out maybe around 55-60?

Theres just a little problem about it not idling, but nothing we cant sort.

Looks fairly nice too Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

My dad liked this paintjob so much he bought a fireblade with a moviestar paintjob whilst we were there Rolling Eyes Laughing

Looks nice, someone I know has the same bike. Are RS125s bigger than the 50s? I've never seen 2 together, but the 50s seem tiny..

Looks in good condition. I would get the shop to sort the idling problem out straight away, it's their responsibility.

Nah the RS50 is a very small and slow bike.

Here is my RS50 and RS125 when i used to own them.

The RS125 feels a hell of alot bigger then the 50 when riding it.

Yeah the RS125's have more beef to them. The 50 is pretty skinny looking but will be better than that old ay50 or ae50 (whatever its called) you currently own

Nice bike, I wanted that when I was 16! I found the 50s are taller than the 125s

Slow? not realy considering the tiny engine.

My ar50 feels alot more responsive, but only revved to about 9k, and topped out about 45. this revs and pulls from around 5k right up to around 11, and could probably top out at around 55-60.

and the 50's arent much smaller than the 125, the 125 has a larger wheelbase, and slightly wider frame. but there isnt a hell of alot in them Thumbs Up

im around 5'8/5'9 and fit nicely on the rs50.

its going back tomorow to get the clutch/speedo/seat/brakes sorted Rolling Eyes
