Hey, that does look good. Like a Bike version of Gran Tourismo series?

Whilst we are on the subject, I have PS2 Superbike TT that I am going to put on ebay. Only been used for about 3 hours so in brand new condition. Make me an offer?

It is good but to be honest I like a game you can pick up and play like MotoGP or Project Gotham 2. Too much stuff to do before the meat of the game. Just my opinion.

tip then, if you press, i think its L1, R1, L2, R2 OR either R1, L1, R2, L2 at the main screen a box should pop up, type in there "worldchamp"(I dont think it has a space, might do though) and you unlock all tracks, bikes, leathers, helmets, the lot. I did it after about a week, cos unlike a gt4 game for example, theres no real working up progress, just loads of boring races and stuff, its way better if you put the cheat in. Especially mad sunday mode.

lol wouldnt that cost a bit more to make than a simple steering wheel and pedals? If you really want one just go down to the arcades and nick one of the manx tt simulator things. Sorted! But for now, now they have over 100 screenshots and some japanese bloke actually playing the game! https://ps2.ign.com/articles/659/659649p1.html

I was worried about that too. The handling looks dodgy, like the gran turismo game (in which you could have the rear wheels spinning and still go round corners fine). It would appear that they are turning a blind eye to actual bike physics and making it into an arcade type game. That Busa would at least snap back from there, maybe highside even.

You can get some 'floating' ones which you just hold in the air and tilt.

Can't counter steer I expect, meaning it'd feel quite un-natural anyway.

If it had a very good rider, possibly.

Well, if it plays as well as it looks then I might get another ps2 Wink

The sound clip at the end is the make or break for me though. If the bikes sound like that, then I'll get it. Thumbs Up (so long as its realistic)

Tourist Trophy for PlayStation 2 is scheduled for release this Christmas in Japan and is likely to hit western markets early next year. (I found in some site)

I was worried it was a pipedream or all rendered.

But its actually like that. Safe.

Did seem abit motogp3 esque (ps2)

Sneeze and you highside so you end up bimbling around the track. But still, if it handles well...

Bikes certainly sounded proper.

Instigator, follow that other link posted and you can find a vid of the guy playing it.

People moan about very realistic simulators anyway, like MotoGP3 where you have to take it steady. I think losing elements of realism are normally a good thing on a game, as that's just what they are.

Loving the look of it though, that will be the only game I've bought in about a year of PS2 ownership, save the ones I bought when I bought the console. Mr. Green

In those later vids it still looks sweet, but the handling seems like a sack of shite...

What was all that running off the track stuff?

Id get it, but im sure it would be RS2 all over again Sad
