but is the 4 stroke not smoother and more reliable and has better higher speed performance? It seems a lot cheaper than an NSR hmmm

NSR's are quicker than CBR's and they look better. What else matters? Smile

Look after it and it'll be fine. Thumbs Up

2 stroke 125's are faster than 4 strokes. 4 strokes can't be deresticted either. 65ish MPH and that's it.

You'll get more respect on an NSR too.

Plenty of NSR's in the exchange & mart section.

try out both.

if you want a 4 stroke 125, get a cg125 not a cbr125.

the nsr will be more expensive to run than the cbr125, but it is better. It will be faster to accelerate and with a higher top speed. It brakes better, it handles better.

If the NSR has been badly maintained it might end up costing money to put right, but if it has been looked after it wont cost so much to maintain.

The cbr 125 is more expensive than the cg125, but it is not better. I think the cg125 rides better than the cbr125.

I wd buy an nsr125 and budget to have money to spare to spend on fixing it if necessary.

an NSR does not have to be expensive. A friend bought a P reg one for £500.

4stroke can be souped up a tad to get more speed... larger carb, jet up, improve air inlet...

As can a 2 stroke, and the souped 4 stroke still won't be better than a standard 2.

True, 2 smoke will always rule over 4 if same CC... but was mainly just in response to this comment...
