Hey fellow bikers

How do you go about removing decals from the bike? I bought some new decals since the ones on th bike are badly scratched.

Is there any specific way of removing them or is it just pull them off?

Thanks

Dan Thumbs Up

Pour boiling water on them to soften them up. They'll just peel off then. A hairdryer is ok for the job too, just not at the same time as the hot water tho!

Great idea, Not sure what use the T cut would be though.
Perhaps a fire extinguisher would be more appropriate! Laughing

T-cut takes away the paint. It may well make your bike shiney, but keep doing it & you'll end up with no paint at all.
A resin based polish does a much better job & wont damage the paint.

Some supermarkets stock it as well as any car accessory shop. Costs about £4 a bottle. You'll need to buy some polish well to bring back the shine after using T-Cut.

Yes. We used to use t-cut to polish up perspex after we had machined it. We would use wet & dry to get the machining marks out, then t cut would polish it up so that it was like glass.
