New screen and a garage door

My Dad ordered one of those remote controlgarage door things, spent a whole day fitting it. Proper lazy American style.

Also my Givi screen came through the post, resprayed it and fitted it. Also I made my own gaitors for the front forks. I am using this bike to get my arse to greater London so I want all the protection I can get.

It better stop my helmet being lifted off at high speeds on the motorway, when your chin guard is lifting up to your nose, thats the time you need a windshield. If it stops abit of rain its a bonus, but my rukka jacket does that.

No, I have a tighter fitting helmet but it gives me headaches. This one was fine on my zzr250, but on the monster it gets lifted up on the motorway, yet I can be doing the same speeds on smaller roads and it isn't bad.

Better fitting doesn't have to mean tighter .
It needs to be the right shape for your head as well.

Other helmets would lift off my head slightly or compress at the front at speed, however I've had my Shoei at around 130 on an faired bike with no problems - Shoei are a much better fit for me than almost all other helmets.

And how difficult was it to fit?

How easy was it to fit I hear you say .

Hrm, well, not too bad to fit really. We had our troubles, it was more getting everything squared off and making sure it was all straight. Really a two man job, I don't know how you would do some if it without another person at hand. All you need to do is fit the guide rails parallel with each other then the rest is pretty simple.

I can't remember the price, but you send off your measurements to this online company and they give you the exact price. Week or two later it's delivered to your door and made to fit your measurements.
