I've come across an FZR400 for £350 but it needs alot of work due to the fact it was stripped of original kit so that it could be dragged raced!! and it was around Heathrow area....

Ummmm, no above 5k. There is plenty of torque but it's a bike!! The higher the revs the better the power delivery. under 5k you get the kinda 'Flat-Spot' in power. Still loads of torque but less than at higher revs.
