Do they have the same bike reg's in Crete as they do in the east?

I mean, the Maximum power output bikes are allowed in the far east is crap compared to what we're allowed, so they can't go as fast...so maybe the laws alot more relaxed?

We live in a spoonfed society anyhow, god forbid we'd be able to look after ourselves without the Law telling us how Rolling Eyes

The law was changed 3 years ago to make helmets compulsary but the people are slow to change. I saw an R6 rider and a kowasaki sports bike (red one but dunno what sort) and both riders had no helmets. No one wears armour or jackets and I never saw 1 pair of gloves. However you were lucky to find a bike with its fairing complete all the way round so they do fall off. The speed limits are slow average 40kmph (lowest I saw was 20kmph and highest was 80kmph). I chickened out when I saw the state of some of the roads and hired myself a Nissan Micra (please don't flame me)

It seems to be the norm in Greece. I was in Skiathos and 95% of the riders and there were a lot of them, never wore helmets. The roads were terrible and there are lot of dirt tracks where people also rode.

Clearly the 'chic' thing to here do was to ride a CBR, Hyabusa etc., with a girl wearing just her bikini !!

reminds me of being in cyprus a few weeks ago people ride realy nice r1's and harleys choopers custom bikes ninja's and they dont wear helmets and if they do its around there neck or straped to the back of the bike, t-shirts and shorts seem to be the norm however i did see one bloke fully kitted out with every thing on my last day, the best one i saw was 2 Hyabusa's with nos on the side the blokes had no shirts on no lid and a pair of shorts now they have some balls to ride round on one of them moded bikes at the speeds they were going but its there choise nothing to to with me but i did worry about 1 bloke when he got nocked off buy a bus.
