Is there any 50cc moped that will fly past all other 50's and which is basically amazing?

nope, all the 50's make about the same power and have similar top speeds.

Some have more potential for tuning with aftermarket parts, but there really is no point for spending hundreds just to go 5mph faster.

Yes there is, the one 50cc that is supreme above all others is the . It runs a 2 stroke 49cc engine and is capable of 136mph as standard, it creates 80BHP at the back wheel.

Get that, it's a great bike.

Nearly every 50 is the virtually the same as the others in its class, ped engines will all go the same, supersport engines are the same, supermoto engines are the same. Don't expect more than 60mph absolute tops without spending thousands on modifications and engine rebuilds every week, plus the fact that when you crash you will lose your licence. Thumbs Up

the answer to the first post depends of the bike country of origin, european ped tend to be much much quicker i.e peugeot and piaggio, than shitty chinese bikes, such as taishan, or zhougho (if i spelt it right) Laughing

go for something like a piaggio nrg or gilera runner, both bike have fairly good engines, and high tuning potential

If it is true that 50cc geared do about 70-75mph then you would need a runner/nrg you would need a sports exhaust, Sports rollers, 70cc borekit, Gear up blablabla but even now you're looking at only 70mph maybe a bit more, My friend had all this done and it went about 75 when ragging the engine but acceleration it would beat it, This wouldn't be a 50cc tho Smile
