I have found a hole in my exhaust which makes my bike sound like a bi-plane. Any advice on what to block the hole with? (just need it to last until payday)

You can buy special exhaust putty that will temporarily seal it from most car shops. Thumbs Up

How big is the hole? I have a couple of pin hole sized ones in my link pipe but doesn't cuz it to run rough or sound bad, just draws air to pop and flame on the over run Thumbs Up

Go to a car exhaust place and fall on their mercy.
They may inject a wad of 'Gun Gum' into your hole. And they might do it free. Thumbs Up

get a bake bean tin, two jubilee clips, some cloth, and toothpaste.

saturate the cloth in toothpaste and cut it to make it slighly bigger than the hole.

cut the tin to make a path that covers over the hole, the cloth.

place the clotch n paste mix over the hole, place the tin patch over, then tighten down with the two jubilee clips.

Will last for a while.

There are commercial kits to dot the same, but you may have this lying about the house.

Youll want to get it welded or a new pipe in the long run.

If possible split a tin/beer can down one side and get it over the hole try and get some gum gum putty between the can and the exhaust and hold it all in place with a jubilee clip or a exhaust clamp at each end.

for small holes "GUM GUM" make a exhaust bandage which you dampen and wrap around the exhaust, it dries rock solid and seals the hole.

Ok, this is weird.

Took the Bandit out today and the exhaust was blowing like a bitch, checked the pipe and guess what, a nice fat hole underneath the bike.

I dropped it at a welding specialists and it is getting professionaly welded tomorrow morning.

No quick fixes for me.
