Hi all,

With the weather turning and my bike still sitting on the cheap nasty tyres, that were on it when I got it, Ive decided to look for something better. Im still on a tight budget and dont want to spend out that much, bike is a cb125td.

The sizes I think are:
F: 3.00 - 18 62S R: 3.25 18 59S (accordin to mich website)
maybe:
90/90 or 100/90 (A friend with a very similar bike says a 110/90 will fit on rear)

Ive been looking at the continental conticity tyres or maybe the mich m45's any oppinions on these two?

Thanks in advance.
Matt

Continental avenues: check them out. i was looking at them for my bike, the training schools swear by them apparently, have been selling by the bucketloads and they last ages too so the guy said

I always used to use pirelli MT65 tyres on my small bikes (going to get some for my H100 shortly).

They are more of a 'sports style' tyre with a circular cross section. They don't last as long as some of the others but on a 125 they don't wear out very quickly and aren't expensive to buy in the first place.

I hate continental tyres.

Had nothing but grief from Conti's.

had various but the scariest were teh TKV11/12s on my FJ1200-like riding on plastic, utterly terrifying.

Not a big fan of Conti's here either, very hair raising in the wet! Shocked

Have a look on bridgestone-eu.com or other UK websites to see what they recommend for your bike!

I found dunlop K82s were good, better than a pirelli MT65. More of a classical block tread, looks sufficiently meaty.
Similar dry performance to the MT65, but much better in the wet and on loose surfaces.

Think I had MT65's on my KH100, pretty good all-round.
