Aaaarrrrggghhhhhh Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

So, was filtering down the M6 this morning, traffic doing a steady 10mph, me doing a steady 40mph. M6 southbound, near J10. Lovely straight bit of motorway, and nice wide lanes.

I'm making decent progress, until a car about 50 yards ahead pulls out into my path. No problem for me, since i'm concentrating, and waiting for things like this to happen. I slow down, and end up sitting on his arse.

I originally thought he was changing lanes, but it turns out he was just pulling out to get in my way. Deliberately.

Now, I can understand that they might not like the fact that they're stuck in traffic, and I'm nipping through on my bike, but that's their choice for being in a car.

Biking is dangerous enough without having these fucking cunts deliberately pull out on you to block your path!

I had to wait quite a while before there was enough of a gap in the next lane for me to be able to squeeze past him, and since I'm not a bastard like him, I passed his car without inflicting any damage. Kinda regretting that now.

What a cock! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Who do these people think they are to take liberties like that, and put my life in greater risk than it already is!?

Hmm - how would you have dealt with him? Thinking

I get this quite a lot, i have a sign on my helmet saying please pull out on me and dont let me pass! When filtering in a group, hubby normally goes through first and i follow, as soon as he goes past some drivers see me and block my way through so i get stuck. Its very annoying Evil or Very Mad but not a lot you can do about it.

I pull up right behind them, make it look like i am annoyed, flash lights etc.

When they move over to block you even more, then a quick brake , turn to the right and pass them on the right hand side.

Flip them the bird.

Carry on filtering.

N.B. This had only ever happened to me on the M6. Mby that motorway is just cursed with twattish drivers.

If the traffic was stationary I'd maybe have stopped alongside him and tapped, politely on the drivers window and asked him why he thought it necessary to try and put my life in danger, especially when the roads are dangerous enough as it is?

I'm sure he'd have sunk down into his seat like the coward he is by that point anyway.

He canny Laughing
Stealth and Cunning.

Prefered Action:
A good hard boot in the wings works, or if your supple enough and have good balance, hoi the wing mirror off the b4stards door with a good penalty kick. Evil or Very Mad

Must admit I think I'm rather spoiled as commuting on the A19 most drivers will pull over to give you a chance to pass. Although this can be annoying when they do it without realising the oncoming traffic gives you no chance (and I'm not one to play games with lorries coming towards me - saw Mad Max when I was young and it left it's mark Wink Shocked).

Only time I've been deliberatly blocked was also on a motorway and only appeared to be by 4x4s. Queue of traffic and had one Jeep and several BMW X5 'wander' around in front of me.

In terms of retaliation I filter past and then sit in front going more slowly than the rest. In congestion they're stuck (although perhaps a bit unfair on the people who are behind the one who gave hassle, I'll have to rethink that).

Oh, this car had a Polish number plate too.

So... he comes to my country, and blocks me on my motorway. Evil or Very Mad

Some people just have no manners!

How refreshing map.
A biker who considers other road users behind him. Laughing
Or is contemplating the thought.

Generally have no problems, but do not use it that often in the rush hour. Did on Monday and at one point where the traffic was flowing and I was in the right hand land (towards the left of it) I had a car decide to try and filter between me and the central reservation.

All the best

I would have pulled up next to his window, knocked on it and asked what the fuck he thought he was doing!!! Dished out a load of verbal abuse then shown him my arse as I rode into the distance! Sometimes my road rage get's the better of me!

Problem dishing:
They canny hear you clearly when you are wearing a full face lid with a neck guard over your chum hole.
Better to ignore or kick. Or something. Verbal doesn't cut it in this situation.

I think if you're annoyed enough, they get the jist without hearing what you have to say. There's no excuse for it, purely dickhead behaviour, I'd be tempted to give their wing mirror a good punch as well.

It seems cool to stop all the cars. But it's so embarrassing when the folk in the cars behind come over to ask you to grow up and move it. The guy you're trying to get to will, invariably, just sit in his car.
I have been there with a taxi b4stard once.

Ignore it and flutter away at the next chance. They will still be in the queue. Laughing

In the 'HEAT' of the moment we do silly things.
Think of it five months later in court when you tell a jury,
"Well then I rolled back so he couldn't pass me."
Better to flip the bird and f**k off. Middle Finger

FWIW I wouldn't try any confrontation. Too much chance of it not going your way. Suppose he just went forward, or in such a way to get past damaging your bike. Bet he/she would say that they're the intimidated party and fearing for their life made their escape. Difficult to argue against and all of a sudden you're in the wrong.

IMO Walloper's onto the right approach

Fortunately it doesn't happen that often, although blocking of the 'filtering lane' is a common occurence by drivers in dreamworld, on the phone etc.

The last person who did it to me deliberately I just sat behind them, directing my full beams into their rear view mirror. When they couldn't take the pain anymore they pulled in and let me pass.

So you changed your view on physical justice after your moan a few weeks ago concerning a lady almost mowing down kids? Rolling Eyes

No - my view remains the same. Otherwise I would have infliced some damage.

My regret isn't necessarily that I did no damage - but that I made no move at all to highlight my anger at his actions to him.

If you have nothing useful to add to a thread Killa, don't fecking post anything!
