Does anyone know where i can get an owners manual for a 1999 CBR600f? i already have a workshop manual, but need the owners manual to find out things like how to change to the reserve, and what the little lever thing beside the "passing" button on the left hand grip is for. ? An electronic copy would be better han hard copy, but any copy in a storm lol

There isn't a reserve, just a light to tell you when fuel is low.

It's the choke.

Just buy the Haynes? Tis all the manual I've ever needed.

Ah grand, thanks. How do i use the choke then? i know it adjusts the mix of fule/air to lean and rich, but under what circumstances do i want each one selected?

Turn it on full before you start the bike, leave it on for a bit (probably about 15 seconds for me) and then turn it off. You'll learn how much your particular bike needs, just leave it on until it'll happily idle without it.

the lever thing might be the choke lever,,
the reserve usually needs to be used when you run out of fuel,,, this is ieasy to tell as your bike stops,,,,
you should have on average 30 miles reserve for most modern bikes
