Closet track is probably Knockhill. You can hire bikes through Lady Snoots, Focused Events and a few others.

excellent! how fast is knockhill good for? eek the r6 is the smallest bike they have, im used to an nsr Mr. Green

I've no idea, but trust me, you won't be looking down anyway. If you're blasting down the straight at, say 130mph, the last thing you want to do is miss your breaking point because you're watching the speedo Wink

The best thing to do is take it at a pace your comfortable with, and gradually build on it, usually any sportsbike will be more capable than what you are capable of.

You can also take an instructor out with you if you want to, just watch how he does things
