i fitted a brand new performance air filter to my bike and tryed a race with it on and it kept on stalling on the line and i was doing everything the same (setting of at the same revs). so i took the exaust off because someone told me to and it was running alot better! why is this and should i take the filter of and leave the exuast off ??

Are you crazy!!!!!!!!????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????!!!!!!!!

Do that and your bike will seize in about 1 min cos it will be running so lean!

How on earth can you ride around with no exhaust? Surely the awful noise would tell you that summat aint right!!!!

Put the zorst back on!
If you want this hi flow air filter, make sure you get the fueling sorted to match, so that you dont wreck your motor.

Just trying to help

John

My god.
NSR's don't have "performance" filters. They have ones that let the bike run a bit leaner.

If you've bent the exhaust even slightly, it'll be a bitch to get back on.
Use it as a club to hit the gormless tw*t who told you to take the exhaust off Rolling Eyes . Tell him "even racebikes have exhausts".

Shocked Oh my life..

..what is wrong with you? You take a valuable piece of kit and are going to end up killing the poor thing because you've taken that exhaust off.
