gilera 180 dna 4 str -racing exhaust /sports filter

0-30 -3 seconds

0-50 -6 seconds

0-60 -9 seconds (too slow)

top speed 80mph

please be honest or its pointless, timed counting elephants or bananas 1 elephant 2 elephant etc......

sounds good for a 4t to me. i mean the honda cbr 125 does 0-60 in about 12 seconds ( honda claim it to be about 17 seconds )

Top speed 165mph, quicker than a CBR125 i doubt it i have seen my bro beat the DNA in a drag race a few times full throttle starts and the sound of a red line but it still beats it and by quite a margin. Twisted Evil

Why would they claim it is 5 seconds slower to 60 than it really is?

My bike ''did'' just under 90mph not sure on 0-60 it was a 2str gilera runner 125 converted to a 172cc (got bored in the first dat & took it back a few days later) Smile

Not timed it but the 0-60 book figure is 3.7s. No way on this earth does it do it in that, more like 6-7s.

0-60 is kind of irrelevant, it's more down to the rider. A good rider launching a CBR600 well will pass a Fireblade. That and the fact that every review you see will have your 0-60 time different.

Top speed on mine is 171.2mph (verified through timing lights) and it was indicating 186mph at the time, so just goes to show how inaccurate speedos are.

Used a snooper GPS to calculate speed. My speedo reads 5% to the fast side.
I'll try and get that speed up and re post figures.

Are we taking into account things such as tailwinds and hills etc. and the most important part, the bullshitometer. Or how much you want to think your going?

If the answer to all of the above is yes then at least 150mph.

ive seen 165 on the speedo and still pulling

but seen a true 160 on a dyno which is more acurate

Once you get out of 50cc's and 125's its all irrelevant. My bike does a genuine 147.2, your only does 146 :Roll:

I know my bike hits 160 on the clock so has to be doing 144 to be legal. I can live with that as a top speed.

And my 0-60 has never let me down from the lights.

As has been said tho, the lifting thing is an issue.

Anyone else pull away normally ish and then fist it open when rolling?
