My ZXR750L1 is for sale!
It has covered 18.5k, Mot'd til feb (if I get my asking price I'll put a full year on).

Tyres in good condition, bridgestone BT014's or something, full stainless micron zeta system and road legal can for MOT's, single seat, Harris exhaust bracket, Stage 3 dyno-jet, 4% ignition advance, Headlight covers, dinky winkas, Full size number plate for MOT's.

Couple of chips in upper fairing, easy repair with fibreglass.

Very quick bike, and sounds the nuts.

Located in Scunthorpe!

Any questions please ask!

nay but it's similar. it's got a fair few aftermarket race parts on it, goes well for a 400.

I was planning to keep it in the garage for the winter and sell it come spring when prices are better for something like a blade.
I would get about £1500 for it come spring time, but now prices are lower so i'd say it was £1250 atm.

We could possibly swap + cash your way then you could sell it at your leasure?

If you want it seriously, Id rather sell it for cash then swap!

Let me know. But it is a quick bike and not for the inexperienced! Thumbs Up

Im ever so slightly interested although a bit put off by the distance.
I recently passed my test and have tried out a thundercat and a vfr750.

The thundercat handled better but the the vfr750 accelerated better.

Have you ridden either of those, and how does the zxr compare ? I am thinking it might be the torque of a 750 is what I need rather than a 600.

Distance ? Your nearly next door to him. Rolling Eyes Mr. Green I had a 700 mile round trip to get my bike and that was just to view it. God knows how I would have felt if I didn't buy it.

I have ridden a cat, but never a VFR750! The handling on the ZXR750L series is known for the good handling, ask anyone on here with the 7r's (WN, Tarche2), as they're the same. This bike also as the ZX7 rear end! The difference in speed from the cat to the ZXR is unbelieveable, its only 150cc more but it counts in all ways! Any other questions just ask! Thumbs Up

Why anyone would go 700 miles for a bike, Ive no idea.

There are lots of bikes near me so I cant think why I would want to travel 150 miles unless it was a bargain.

I thought seriously about getting a '90 vfr750 for £500 from London but decided it was a bit far.

If I bought a bike and it broke down on the way home, then recovery fee wont be too much if its near me. Ideally I'd like to push it home.

When my insurance is up for renewal, I can just take out a new policy for the bike, but although you can get instant cover on insurance, breakdown cover is usually for the next day to avoid people getting it when they need recovery.

what age is the zxr ? Have you had the front dropped through the forks 5 or 10mm or not?

The ZXR is a 1994, like it says in the title! The forks are dropped through by 5mm. It handles like its on tracks! Cool

Insurance isnt bad neither! I have got mine down to about £90-100 TPFT! Thumbs Up
