Varadero V R 1150 GS

I'm looking for a big tralie like the Honda varadero or BMW R 1150 GS? I've test ridden the Honda and wasn't sure if I liked it . I found the usual mechanical and aero dynamic faults as in the offical reports but liked every thing else about it, now I'm looking for a test ride of the BMW and I wouldn't mind some feed back from owners of said machine.
What I want from it is, nice style, bags of power and comfy enough for me and her indoors who are both in excess of 15 stone each, (I'm losing weight, cant speak for the wife???? ), to travel length and around all of this fine nation of ours, possibly beyond the water that surrounds us. I suppose I would like this to be the one we keep till I can no longer manage to ride.
