hey yeah it all works fine, i'm hearing a little rattle though so could be time for a new cam chain or tensioner not sure just yet, and i think its a very early l model as it was first registered in 08/05/1991

Cheers Guys, also does anyone have any idea on the costs of a cam chain and tensioner replacement usualy do the work myself but i can't really be bothered, cheers

It might just be the clutch mate. The cam chain will "hiss" when revved. The clutch will lump unless you pull the clutch in or put it in 1st.

Good buy by the way. Mines a H reg too, 1991 L1.

yeah it could be that, am going to give it a complete overhall anyway this weekend, strip it all down and sort it out. The owner before me seems to have taped up half the airbox to componsate for the race end can hmm i think its time for a complete dynojet and needle kit and a trip to the local dyno
