Hi

Mmm, Charlottes insurance renewal is coming up soon. At the Potteries Motorcycle show we asked for a quote.

Now I am a tad depressed.

They quoted her £79 for third party fire and theft, with cover to ride other bikes and me as a named rider. Twas only £149 for fully comp. That is with only 1 years no claims

Mmmm

All the best

Keith

Yes, I think that's Michael Carrick, and he's paying something like £11.5k to keep his Viper insured...but that equates to about a weeks' wages to him Confused

Just out of interest, Keith - how much cover does the "ride other bikes" bit offer? TPO? Also, I assume that the "other bikes" need to be owned and insured by someone else? (i.e. it can't be your own uninsured bike?)

Cheers,

Hi

That was Mitchell and PArtners I think (something like that).

The cover to ride bikes you dont own is just tpo I think, but it at least means you can ride other bikes. I was with Bennets last year and was not too chuffed when I got the documents through and found I wasnt covered to ride bikes I didnt own.

All the best

Keith
