Wow, thanks guys. You lot sure know how to make a dude feel welcome.

Stew - I am a REAL Northerner, I just happen to live in Lincoln now. Wink

I grew up with Mr Lucky in the North East where we enjoyed our first bikes together many years ago - an RD80 and CB125T. Them woz the days wot?

G- what needs sorting on your 9e. I haven't got a fookin clue about stuff now, I used to be quite a handy spannerman (RAF training) but now I'm a bone idle bastid who doesn't like getting his hands doity. Wink

In recent years I've had a VFR 400 which I stupidly swapped for an old 600 teapot .. oh yes, there is definitely a substitute for cubes and it is a tight chassis, sticky tyres and revvy motor.. great fun that 400 was .. teapot was a nail.

Anyway I now have a 99 ZX9R-C2 which is currently in bits in my garage as the alarm will not turn off .. (see separate thread).

Hoping to have it sorted by suntime (scheduled for 17th June this year I think) Cool

Loads of stuff, mostly just straightening the yokes/forks at the mo and adding a few road bits.
